I absolutely agree. I mean.. i'm still going to college... but i'm still going to try and animate stuff during my free time for when i'm not at work... or not at college... or not studying. :)

It's not selfish at all, you enjoy animating, people like to get paid for doing things they enjoy. If you think you could make a good living off of it go for it.

If I was in your situation, I'd stop everything else and live in a dark alley with only a laptop pluged in to an outdoor socket and do NOTHING but animate!
