Two years reading guidebooks and studying our fellow artists here on Newgrounds. I already idolize JohnnyUtah's style so I was ready to do a drawing like this when the chance came up :D

I don't remember which ones I used, but all the Flash tutorials I ever used were right here on NG :) Just take the time to go through all of the beginner ones done by a single artist first (skip the collabs until you've experienced the small solo ones).

man, dont make me blush with that "idolize" shit. I wish I had the animation chops you had. your animation style is like mine, but not tweened and actually good. thats all I'll say.
No way Jeff man, I just follow the "rules" and try not to make mistakes, I'm no born animator. If I could give you suggestions on the really simple way that I animate (based on all I've learned from NG animators, animators I've worked with, or from guidebooks), I'd consider that an achievement in my artistic timeline. Seriously. And I envy good tweening, because I'm remarkably bad at it. That's right. I CAN'T TWEEN. That is why I taught myself FBF, because I had no choice. :(
Of course, we could always just join together like Voltron to form the perfect animator, or maybe you could even wield me as a gun, like Megatron.

Nowhere, until I'm done making them. Right now they're in the "I think I like this design, but I wonder what it would look like if..." phase. And since I'm making more than one, I don't wanna have too many redundant designs when one good one would suffice.
But when they're done, you'll know. Oh believe me, YOU'LL KNOW!
