Well I'm not nearly as good as an animator as you, though I kind of like how blockhead looks like a roundish lego, and every one else is actually human-like. But if you really want to keep character anatomy the same, just do it! Anyone can do it if they have the patience and mindset, also I loved the graphics in this episode, it was pure awsome! Also, don't listen to critics, because half of the time, critics are just losers who have no talent what so ever, and the only thing there good at is judging people's work instead of appreciating it. Trust me, people who go out of there way to point out every little flaw have no life, and have nothing better to do, so plz. keep up the good work, and don't sweat it.
There's nothing wrong with critics, but I think you're talking about the people who try to be offensive. I'm not worried about them though. Blockhead is not an offensive cartoon in the slightest, so if someone decides they want to be offensive at me, then that makes them the jackass.
I think critique depends on the approach the person takes when they offer it. Saying "this sucks, here's why" is different than "here's what you could do to make a cartoon that would appeal more to me personally". I actually look forward to the latter. You can absolutely never please anyone, but you can't be an entertainer if you don't at least try. You know?

when writing a script, do you tend to get drunk lol? and i cant see how you do blockhead AND the concience when they have completely different voices :s
hmmmm, i have a few suggestions/criticisms that you might take to mind.
The blockhead series was a fantastic idea to start out with, but with every episode it seems he just generally does the same thing, just in a different setting. His dialogue is so similar, that after a few episodes it gets bland and even a bit annoying. If you maybe introduced new characters (yeah I know there's the weevil but i mean really interesting ones) the series might get better. Though, I guess you're kind of stuck because you always have to have blockhead in their as the main character and his repetitous words and actions are kind of played out.
Another suggestion is to start on different projects not involving blockhead. Even your 'Time Squad' series has blockhead in it, i mean, come on. Taking a break from your series will allow you to expand your animation skill in more varied sorts, and avoid having to center everything you do around one character, eventually dropping the quality of your flash. You don't want to become Illwillpress.
The blockhead character design isn't too fabulous or interesting either. As far as suggestions go that's all i got hope it helps, your artwork is great, you obviously know how to animate, you have potential, use it in more ways than one.
Time Squad wasn't a break from Blockhead, it was a short film based around him. I notice you failed to mention Pico's Time Tank or Mohinder, though. Blockhead had nothing to do with those.
Also, people don't hate Illwillpress because he uses the same characters. They hate him because he recycles artwork, bases his cartoons around unfunny and offensive themes, and heeds absolutely no advice from the people who criticize him.
I animated the first episode of Blockhead as practice for later projects, and every episode since has served the same purpose. So long as it teaches me something, how could I possibly think of stopping? And honestly though, I know you see the appeal that Blockhead has with some people on here. It would be a big disappointment to them if I just stopped outright because a few people don't like the series, wouldn't it? Which one is the bigger cop-out?

awesome episode! you've got a very nice animating style, and i love how simple blockhead is which makes room for you to be able to do some smooth FBF transitions. also, props to the blockhead voice actor, that voice makes me laugh no matter what he saizz :)

Haha, I do all my own voices in every episode :) Blockhead, the Conscience, the Weevil, the old lady, the car guy, the policeman, and so on and so forth. Other than some help in Time Squad and also the faux-Peter Steele voice in this cartoon where I got my friends to lend a hand, I rely on myself for my own voices. It's not because I think I'm the greatest there is, but because it's easier to make up new voices in a pinch if I change the script around.
And I promise I'm getting MSN soon, swear on my life :D
(Also, I think notorious is coming from the angle of "I don't like Blockhead but I still have faith in you" or something, so I can't really take offense from that)
Do me a favour, the quality of a cartoon catches peoples attention and with bad quality cartoons the majority of people constantly dont feel like there lost, mesmorised by watching a cartoon thats bad quality. I like to sit here, watch blockhead with mindblowing, almost TV quality cartoons and feel like i do when im watching a cartoon on telly. THAT IM THERE. Without good quality blockheads i probablly wouldnt like it as much as i do. The quality of blockhead is so amazingly good that i LOVE them, the smooth movments, the smallest detail, i could go on (and it looks like i have LOL) So please keep it up and i hope you keep it up.
ok, after watching it, a few times, i have to ask, why is it just 'Blockhead' and not 'Blockhead EPISODE 11', or a Ghostmas themed title? or is it maybe the first one, sort of a prequel to the others? i had to ask because it just seems odd to me... than again that is the Blockhead way :D
It is, it's "Blockhead GhostmasSpecial" but the title gets cut off on the front page. Not everyone sees it though. Check the title inside the submission itself and you'll see.
I changed the title to Blockhead Ghostmas but I guess Tom hasn't gotten around to approving it yet.

I have a newfound appreciation for how you animate, thanks to a side project I'm doing that is supposed to combine tweens with fbf. But I think we all have places in our cartoons where we lose a lot of time. For me, it's the "hey wouldn't it be cool if"s that stop my progress to work on some flashy bauble, burning me out on the real animation.
another great blockhead movie, its just pure awesomeness, even his intervention in the newgrounds logo is hilarious... all on the series is great but i specially admire your voice acting, you are very skilled in that department, while the rest of us are doomed with voiceless characters forever :(

i loooooooove blockhead, although, i sort of don't now why you called him blockhead, when his head is round, i thought you might have made his head an actual block, but i suppose it was because he is dumb XD
I don't know why but i can't help acting like him, i saw this TV program that was studying the acting of people with other people, they had one person that was being annoying and one that was being nice and they found out that all the people that were talking to the nice guy started copying him, like he would scratch his head and the other person would scratch their head afterwards, it was funny, i suppose that is why i always copy Blockhead because i like him, not like like though :/
i think you should even it out, have ok quality and ok quantity, but you should have your main focus on the jokes, most things are being repeated and it is funny but if you keep using the same sort of jokes again and again, then they will soon start become boring.
You need to take more time to make your jokes and i don't think people will mind if you spend more time on making lower quality but better jokes and longer movies and so we might have to wait but who cares if it makes people laugh then it is good.

Blockhead is spontaneous, a second session of Ghostmas caroling would ruin that...but maybe some day I can release the song, re-recorded in high quality.
