hey have you tried dead frontier 3D?
it uses the Unity 3D Engine and its an MMORPG.
something to compare your game with.
Did some Blockhead. Made a lil' Mastermind. Co-created Madness: Project Nexus. I love you so much!

two questions
1: on your forum link says backing... you take donations and such? id be down for that this is something id love to get behind with you guys... and also if so how would you go about it
2: will you be putting a demo or part of it onto a flash version for newgrounds or is it stricly download unity
loved the first and love your work let me know about that first question though!
We want to put together a kickstarter or something like it. If you support us via that kind of avenue, then we'll be able to give you something in return for your support :)
Im just wondering will the dead bodies be ragdollistic or be like in the first one?
I wonder how character customization will work...
Will there be gloves? It always annoyed me when my character is covered in armor and his hands are the only thing showing.
Sounds interesting and I definitely think it'll be worth the wait. I can't thank you guys enough for working so hard just so we can have a fun time. I have a question, though, Will we be able to pick up ammo? Picking guns on the run has proven to be deadly sometimes.
We're trying to think up new ways of allowing players to refill their gun. Half the fun of the series is how Hank cycles through weapons he's picked up, but we don't want to force that on a player just because it's canon.
We've been thinking of things to add to a new Scavenger skill tree. It's gotten pretty in-depth, but one of the features of this line would be to carry more ammo on your person for your starting gun, swapping ammo between weapons that use a similar caliber, and also being able to nab ammo out of guns from the floor.
I'm really curious how the final testures for the chracters and guns will turn out.
Can you please please PLEASE ADD 2 Player Mode Campaign or 2 Player Mode Arena Mode or both!
so that i can dual commentary with a friend and make a video about this awesome game and upload it on youtube.
Hope you do good on your game.
Dço again arena mode with arneas you can choose from there are 100 waves if you survve them all you get a badge worth 500 pôints thats ultimate surviver zombie mode is again there please with zombie ultiamte surviver!
We're gonna do better rewards for getting high scores in arena :)
Dear Swain, in madness project nexus 1.5, in a science tower level, that guy like Phobos, he is trying to kill his friends. Is a glitch?
I've never seen that.
You gotta keep that gold plated Desert Eagle in there.
The 3d looks cool buth could be better same controls please.
Same exact controls, but now that it's not Flash we can allow players to use the Right Mouse button. That alone almost makes the whole switch worth it.
I still love how you are making an awesome Madness game with THE Krinkels, but i'm still missing the good 'ol Blockhead.
Mayble (Tough,it's just a silly idea) we can play as Blockhead in Arena Mode for this game? I'd love to see him use Tongs to kill a bunch of zombies.
*Sits at home with fingers crossed for a Blockhead in Arena mode...*
I want to make the special hireable NPCs more unique this time around. Maybe Blockhead can even have a few spoken lines... ;)
is there gonna be new enemies
Oh man, lots
This is just a hint to help you guys you, but I would think that if you really need some help, ask for help from the guy who developed the game, SCP containment breach, I think the game could use for someone with some regal expertise. If this offended you, I'm sorry, I'm not trying to make it sound like you guys aren't great at making 3D games, but it's always nice to ask someone with first-hand experience.
Ultimately Matt and I want this to be a creation of our own. But we're talking to a lot of people in the biz about what makes their 3d games tick. If we reach out to SCP, maybe we can talk to them about their success too :)
might be a 3rd person shooter but add a first person shooter mode, it will looks incredibly sweet
also 1 question
will it be paid or free?
I thought about having a specialized aim mode, but we're likely sticking to third person. We want the game to feel a lot like the original Nexus, but BETTER.
We don't know about payment yet. Depends entirely on the size of the game and if we can find funding.
You may receive this question a lot, but would it be possible to get an update on any potential Blockhead episodes to be released in the future?
Loved Project Nexus, will there be melee combat in the 3D environment on the sequel.
When do you think the beta will be out, because I would really enjoy being able to give my feedback on yours and Matt's lovechild. And I'd enjoy getting to experience firsthand just how much you've worked on the project.
Peruraptor
If Aiming your gun up and down is a little finicky during fast gameplay (coordinating a crosshair in 3D space), I suggest focusing mostly on the horizontal plane in level design, so players don't constantly have to constant adjust their aim along the Z axis.
