Is it against Copyright to make Madness: Project Nexus for PS4 or Xbox1?

awesome, good luck guys! as far as animation goes, blending could have been done in your last game-you just had to implement skeletal animation (like in my game for example) , same as in unity. the biggest challenge is getting that madness look, i'd skip all glossy bs lighting and let the textures do the talking with some help of hard shading. cheers

I'm gonna guess the great distance between body parts is for testing purposes?
Actual chest seems a bit lengthy still, tho.

Good luck to you guys!

Aye, legs won't be so far apart in the actual game.

Looks quite interesting but as a person who does 3-D models I have to ask, what are you using to make the game models? Blender? Or perhaps the super expensive Z Brush? Also are you going to try to make the game run as fast as possible or are you going to dress it up with neat visuals (Perhaps balancing performance and visual quality)?

We're going to uncompromisingly approach a unique style for the game, but we're still going for performance over flare. HOWEVER, we do want players with advanced video cards to be able to really boost the appearance as much as possible.

Project Nexus 2 should save and Project Nexus should be updated to save .

Will 3D rendering support blowing chunks of flesh off of enemies? Will it be too complicated to make multiple polygons for all the disfigurements Hank can inflict? In M:PN one can reduce enemies to headless, backless, still-living corpses with shotguns.

why wont you answer after how many times i asked you both?
on your tumbler, and here.
where else!?
srsly do YOU NEED SOME HELP?
CAN WE SUGGEST? CAN WE DO TECHNICAL SUPPORT?
DONATIONS?

Hey pal, don't worry, when the Kickstarter is up we'll make sure to announce a call to arms if it looks like Nexus 2 needs it. Thanks for the dedication.

I really hope that the blood for the agents will be purely red... and won't look ridiculously like katchup stains.

I disagree for making it supportable on the Xbox/Playstation.
Simple games like these should stick with the PC, console world is a place, where only dedicated, most wanted and incredibly advanced games make to a profitable success.

Castle Crashers and Super Meatboy were not advanced in any commercial studio sense, but were still rich with experience and brought people unmeasured enjoyment. This game is one of passion for us - I hope you won't look at Nexus 1 as an example of our limitations, but of Flash's.

Okay, I'm excited.
Nexus 1 made a game with perfect gore and something original that I can't put my finger on. In the end I played it longer than any game made in the last year and a half, the fact that it was flash and I ended up running whatever music I wanted in the background a bonus. one of the only things left for me to want was a dual wield mechanic.
However, the controls were fast and streamlined and don't feel like something you can, or should, convert to a controller. Just a heads up.

I agree with nick, making the move to consoles would be a bad Idea,as the game would lose the "madness feel" that you guys delivered unto us in Project Nexus. maybe you could do that with Project I.V. ?

So long as you can aim your weapon and slaughter the hordes of badguys, I'm impartial as to where the game ends up. But we're aiming for Steam first, before anything.

thanks and sorry pal.
got frustrated.

I suggest you make this game open source if it's released, with that, other people can help with the growing of this game. So possibly other people can make your game for free.

WAIT NO WINDOWS?

PC is Windows.

good luck guys c:

NEW PRESENT

I checked out the most recent screenshots. They're cool but the foot/torso gap is still there. Did you guys just decide to leave the gap in the game or is it still on the to do list?

That's there for testing animations. None of the final animations have that gap.

dont release a beta please.
its much better to see the game in full version.

I can't wait for this I beat both chapters of the story and went beast in the arena and now there is gonna be a new update. I know u guys will do an amazing job with this. I'm excited for the update what i've seen looks good but I'm not an animator at all so i can't really say anything about the technicals all i know is that it looks awesome. Keep up the great work guys.

LOL that guy looks like a zombie!

He looks like he put too much ketchup and mustard on his hotdog.
