Did some Blockhead. Made a lil' Mastermind. Co-created Madness: Project Nexus. I love you so much!

Looked on the blog, I guess it must have been the shading effect or something, but I thought the GO3LM looked really unfinished since the front of it look missing. Sorry for the mix up.

    @1999Elias
The real reasons of M:PN1 lagging were many complex vector graphics displayed on the screen at once (weapons, enemies, lockers, doors) and I also suspect bad coding practices combined with the use of ActionScript 2.0 and Flash Player version 8, which are notoriously slow and known for not optimising graphical performance.

    My coding was flawless.

Would be cool if we had an option to make the bodies of the deceased guys disappear after a while.

    That will be included.

Are... Are those bullet holes on the open doorway?

    Yes.

You mentioned in your reply to M0nk3m4n's comment that you hoped to address who's been hiring Hank, which I think is a very good thing to do. You see on Deimos' handheld that he's told to retrieve Hank's body then await further orders. Orders from who? Where did Sanford and Deimos fly to after 6.5 in the helicopter? There's a whole story that we haven't delved into yet, the story of the agency that's combating the AAHW, and is targeting Nexus, and wants the Improbability Drives destroyed. I'm really excited to see more of this story.
Anyways, keep up the good work, guys! The game looks great so far, and once I find employment and get a nice, beefy computer, I'll be first in line on launch day with money at the ready. Looking forward to more updates, send Matt my best. =D

That 1337's having the time of his life on that computer

    haha

Is there going to be a way to grab other enemies for meatshields or something of that nature? I'm not sure it's even a good thing to have, I'm just curious. Also, are there any plans for a full Madness cartoon in 3D?

could there be multiplayers or arena battles in the game ?

There could potentially be multiplayer, but we haven't had any chance to test that out yet. Right now it's all been working on the engine and style.

Is that just an empty cup or is it filled with something?
    I'm curious :3

All I've seen so far is Hank, have Sanford, Deimos, Jesus, or Tricky been made yet? Just wondering.
OH, and will there be accessible features that will alter the game sphere?
You know, like, computers, elevators, explosions, all that neat shit?

we'll we ever feel like we are playing in the madness universe? i can imagine how hanks moves. doesnt seem similar to the walking animation in the 2d universe of madness. i can imagine while they walk they look like they're sliding on the floor. or cycling through the floor without a bike...wierd.

That's up to Krinkels. He's animated his series for just about ten years all by himself. If anyone can make it look like Madness, it's going to be him. He is in charge of all game animations.

No shit, look at that. Dynamic lighting and cell shading to boot. Massive props to you, Mr Swain.

Don't be afraid to trash some of the M:PN1 mechanics if you find better alternatives. Cover and dodging, for example, felt like gimmicks that didn't really add to the gameplay. Might I suggest a Shadow Warrior (2013) inspired version of dodging/sprinting/movement? http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=BXJadJNIxTQ#t=1440

is this a point and click type of game?

Looks cool. Still raw but cool. This seems to be a game with a lot of corpses.
The Big Guy is wearing helmet which looks a bit like That Helmet from Elfen Lied.

    well keep it up but
    legs look weird
what is that crosser on the golem unit
    the body is a cone
    but so far so good
    keep it up

    cant wait

@saitar, I wish I didn't read that comment, that show was horrible enough, and I spent months trying to forget it, now you've reminded me, thanks a lot.

Can't wait! Will there be some alpha/beta tests, or are you going to let people play it when it's done?

Swain PLEASE let the characterdata of your project nexus 1 character from arena mode go to project nexus 2

    Landeyx that is impossiple..
