i kinda like the idea of putting madness game in 3d style. but will it continuing the story from the latest version of project nexus? or you guys just really made a new one in different concept, gameplay and story?
Did some Blockhead. Made a lil' Mastermind. Co-created Madness: Project Nexus. I love you so much!

It will continue, but playing Nexus 1 won't be required to know what's going down.
this is gonna be epic
this is gonna be truly awesome keep it up swain oh 1 question is this going to be a free download game??
The-Swain, one question: Is madness project nexus 2 gonna have an arena mode like the first one, and also zombie mode? I loved playing that mode in the first game.
Both, for sure. The game depends on an arena mode
THE SWAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAIN. YEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!
can we have some more blockhead, maybe? not to be all "WJHYN CANT YOU DO A MILLIO THINGS AT ONCE, SAWIN.", or anything. :p
MINE MINE MINE MINE MINE MINE! THIS GAME WILL BE ON MY COMPUTER!
So...
You gonna kickstart it, right?
Also, good luck with this game!
And one question...
This gonna be free game?
3D madness?I tried a 3d madness game before the walking were SO UGLY!I hope the movements will be at least okay. Those looks like teachers or students......WE GET TO KILL THE TEACHERS!!??!?!?!?AWESOME!
Was it in any ways associated with Krinkels? He would never do that to you.
wait if it's 3D then won't that not be like the orginal madness
Going to be blunt on this. Not really digging how Madness is translating into Unity at the moment, looks pretty ugly. Love what you guys have done with the original Madness: Project Nexus thus far loved the Christoff campaign origin story. But from what you've shown me via newgrounds and tumblr as of today is quite concerning. Granted this is all most likely alpha and you are working out coding the mechanics and kinks. Hopefully a more charming verison comes to mind.
Also intinal thoughts on this match Youtubelsawsome's comment. The jump to 3D modeling of madness does give me that feel of not being completely true to the canon of madness. (yes perspective tricks have been done but 2D madness always had a certain charm about what 2D could still pull off. Guess you could say it's the South Park effect.)
ETA?
I'm very happy about this.
3d might ruin the madness feel.
idk it just doesnt feel right. but it looks new though. hopefully it will be as suprising as project nexus 1.
suprising like "It actually plays like in a madness movie"
Is it going to have ragdoll physics? If so cool, if not. Still cool, because I know Krinkels will pull it off pretty damn good with the gory killing animations for this project. Also when it's finished, it would be cool if you guise Greenlighted this on Steam, I would have pay to play it for sure. Also one final question... Will the game look cartoony? Like Krinkels' MC cartoons?
Unity allows ragdoll and we want to use it sometimes. But we still want a lot of Keinkels animated deaths like in Nexus 1. Looking for a good balance.
Hmm , if it is 3D
Would the file size be HUGE?
Because then it would be a pain in the ass then
:/
But still, keep it comin :D
This would be a download or install. Size wouldn't hurt the performance.
I got into 3D Modeling about a year ago and would love to jump on-board, if you guys need some additional models done.
Don't have my portfolio available, atm, but I have this to show for my work.
Wow, this does look really cool. But Swain, does this mean that your Madness: Project Nexus 1 is no longer given updates? I know you must be really busy to keep up life while workin' on this huge unity project, but the original games does have its flaws. Pistols, smgs and shotguns all being outshadowed by rifles, huge lag on later levels of arena mode, and pretty short story. I was so thrilled when you announced the 2.0 version, with more explosives, legendary skill trees, dual wielding, and JEXUS POWERS. Balance between weapons and new features are still desperately needed for Madness: Project Nexus 1. Do you have any intentions to work on them?
That's why the sequel. Flash cannot possibly handle any of that. Getting 1.5 done was a trial the likes of which I have never known, but we didn't want to just give up. Instead, we thought we'd do it right this time in a format that won't fail us the way Flash did.
All that stuff we wanted to do will be in this game instead.
Nice. Is it going to be awesome?
MAYBE

whats gonna happen to poor project nexus numero 1?
The-Swain
It will live on in myth and legend for all of time.
