I like it and I don't know why.

You know, I was totally surprised by the voice acting. The quality of the recording may not have been spotless, but the voices were phenomenal all the same.

At first I was bothered by the graphics and by the questionable grammar and spelling, but I have to honestly say that I stopped caring about it about halfway through and really started to like the flash. I don't know; this was just an overall strange experience.

7/10, friend.

Maybe I laughed, but not at the flash.

What exactly did you guys do? "Animate" the characters? The audio is great, but it's not yours (though you righty credited it to its original authors). Because I am reviewing this flash and not the work of the guys who originally did the audio, I have to say that there is absolutely nothing here. Am I wrong? And it took two of you to do it, too.

(Note: The audio would get a 7 for the original creators)

Brilliant

The title says more than any description would allow. You know, even if the animation was coordinated off of dance videos, it doesn't matter; the work only goes from impossible to incredible. I don't give away "5's" on Newgrounds; in fact, I rarely vote. But I did today, and you earned your perfect score.

Note: I just noticed on my second time that "Britney Spears" still displays on the song-player no matter what song is on. Thought I'd point it out!

Heh, and thanks for helping me feel inferior :D Keep up the brilliant work!

Awesome

I am completely enamored with this flash. I watched it just before I got involved with flash myself and was baffled at how something so strangely original could be produced on so simple a medium. Since then I've watched it fifteen or so times. Fantastic work!

Very jumpy, never slows down.

Liked the "paper doll" style, very creative.

I should point out that it's spelled "Scaramouche", although I'm sure you realized it was French, what with the European opera house and checkered French-Mime outfit for the actor. Just a friendly reminder!

Good stuff

I like the style; it's reminiscent of Spumco, no doubt about it. Aside from the bleep-compression, this submission is flawless.

Note: I once promised myself that I would never commit the word "lugubrious" to memory because it's a stupid word and I despise it, but I somehow remembered it because I tried so hard not to. SO, for everyone else...Lugubrious = excessively mournful, as in the case of Queen Victoria of England.

Liked it

Liking the style and smooth animations. Good work, friend.

Music detracted from the subject

Enjoyed the animation, especially the comic style at the very end. In that, I wouldn't want you to change anything.

However, like a cop show where the two partners just can't get along...like a modern action movie with matrix "bullet time"...like a horror flick with ear-piercing orchestral brass hits to make you jump instead of actually scaring you...WHY did you follow a genre cliche and use this Prodigy song? Any simple fast-paced techno would have worked, but considering the sound track, it feels like the submission title should have read "L33T Fy7in9 s71kz, d00d!" just to be in keeping with the people who like that kind of musical cliches.

Other than the music (about which i only criticize the selection) good work.

Another "It's ok, but..."

Good music selection, but the flash had nothing without it. Combined with the song, it told a decent story, so this wasn't a complete bomb.

Did some Blockhead. Made a lil' Mastermind. Co-created Madness: Project Nexus. I love you so much!
